In the Biosphere Reserve is the highest peak of Spain the Mulhacén Peak where remains of the glacial era can be found. Besides this two of the tourist attractions are: climb Pico Valletta and in the end enjoy of a beautiful view; or take an excursion through the Laguna de la Caldera. At Sierra Nevada we find several ski and snowboard resorts with various levels of difficulty allowing everyone to have fun; and also tourist spots where peace and quiet reigns. For those who don’t want to do many programs in the snow they can always rent a bike and ride through the mountains or even take a sleigh ride.
In the low areas we can find a village rich in culture and history: Las Alpujarras. Perfect for tourists who want to escape the concentration of people and the movement of the high areas.
The ski resorts in the high zones are the favourite place for lovers of winter sports, from amateurs to professionals.
